Star Bucks Coffee

Is it only me or does anyone else think that whether you buy their coffee ‘in house’ or brew it at home – it all tastes burnt?

I’m also wondering why I keep torturing myself by sipping this cup of bitter black liquid that stays bitter no matter how much cream or sugar I add…

  1. I’ve never liked Starbucks for that reason!

Luckily I discovered Mystic Monk coffee…

    http://www.mysticmonkcoffee.com/index.html

which is delicious and very smooth. Of course this has nothing to do with the fact that my son is a postulant with the monks – and every bag of coffee sold helps build their permanent monastery. ๐Ÿ™‚

No seriously, it’s excellent coffee. (Cleaning my coffee maker monthly with a vinegar/water solution helps too.)

    • Oh I TOTALLY AGREE Monk’s Mystic coffee is awesome. I bought some last year and recently ran out. A guest bought me two bags of the star bucks and I have come to the conclusion that the reason I keep making it and trying to drink it is out of gratitude for the gift… AS to cleaning out my coffee maker – its brand new – less than two weeks and the first pot in it tasted awesome – You guessed it – it was the last of my Monks coffee….. (Sniff) Thanks for the website. I think I’ll see if I can find some people who might like to order a 100 dollars of it with me! Its a really great way to buy it. Congratulations on having a son with a vocation. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I know this totally makes me weird, but it’s that strong, black, burnt taste that I like. (Childhood memories, I think of a grandmother that didn’t know how to make good coffee… ๐Ÿ™‚
